Afterone year at Jumpstart, I continued on playing at City Beach Volleyball Club forthe next 6 years, earning Bronze, Silver and Gold medals in the Junior OlympicsOpen Division. During these years, I also attended Saint Francis High Schoolwhere my team won CIF and CCS championships two years and was named WCAL“Mythical National Champions” my Sophomore year. As team captain my senioryear, I was awarded WCAL All League First Team and MVP among the Lancers. Ialso played basketball and track for two years at Saint Francis. After highschool, I went onto Santa Clara University, where I was a Division Onestudent-athlete for four years, majoring in Business Management. In these fouryears, my team attended the 2005 NCAA Final Four and was named WCC Champions 2years. After graduating from Santa Clara in 2009, I played professionally inSwitzerland for a season.
I have coached many volleyballcamps at different places including Santa Clara University, Saint Francis HighSchool, Soquel High School, and will be starting my second year at MVVC. I havebeen blessed with amazing experiences and opportunities throughout myvolleyball career and want to give back to the sport. I think that volleyballis a great way to be active, social, competitive, and have fun. I truly believethat the things learned while playing volleyball have helped make me thecompetitor and team player that I am today, on and off the court and I hopehave it be the same for players at MVVC.
When I am not coaching, I enjoydoing anything outdoors and active including SCUBA diving, hiking, camping, having beach days and hanging out with family and friends.
