Boys Power Team Training Blocks
Thank you for your interest in joining Mountain View Volleyball Club for the 2020-2021 season. We are proud of our history and the culture we’ve developed over the past 10 years. As you know, this year is unlike others. For that reason, our organization will be slightly different while still providing a community focused on playing the highest level of volleyball possible.
Due to NCVA’s postponement of the Fall Power League Season and CIF / CCS’s postponement of the boys high school volleyball season until December, MVVC is offering three-week training blocks with stable groups of 12 players. Groups will begin practices the week of August 10th and will reset every 3 weeks until tryouts are allowed, team competition opportunities arise, or county health rules change. We anticipate offering 5-6 training blocks until the start of the boys high school volleyball season in mid-December.
Players interested in participating in MVVC’s Training Blocks, with stable groups of 12 players, should register below. Though it is our goal to place as many players as possible, availability is limited and expected to fill quickly. Players will be placed in groups based upon age, grade, position, and skill. Though we do not anticipate moving players to different groups between Training Blocks, MVVC reserves the right to do so as necessary.
Return-to-Play Guidelines / Adhering to Stable Groups of 12
MVVC asks that both the parents and players read our Return-to-Play guidelines carefully. It is important that everyone be prepared and responsible in advance for the safety of all participants.
Santa Clara County Guidelines require camps/clinics for children cannot have more than 12 participants and need to stay in the same group for at least 3-weeks. Players who choose to participate with MVVC’s Training Blocks may not participate in another activity / group except for academic classes / school.
