MVVC is excited to run our 11th year of Boys Youth League! Our Program is for 5th to 8th graders at all levels. The season will start with three pre-tryout evaluation clinics.. We highly encourage you to make it to all pre-tryout clinics in order to be considered for a youth team.  These clinics are also a great opportunity to improve your volleyball skills before we place you onto a team at the tryouts. Our goal at the tryouts is to try to make enough teams so everyone can participate.

Our Boys Youth Program will compete in most of the NCVA Boys Power League Tournaments. This is about a 3 month club season for 5th to 8th graders that are not ready to make a year commitment. The program is designed for players of varying skill levels and for players playing multiple sports who can't commit to a year long season. Whether it is your son's first time playing volleyball or he has past experience, he will have a place to compete at an appropriate instructional level. Our goal is to provide a quality and rewarding experience at a high level.

After our three Pre-Tryout Clinics, we will have our Tryout Placement Day on Sunday August 28th, We will then send an invite to players to participate on one of our youth teams. Any players that do not make it on one of our teams will be invited to more clinics during our winter season. The teams will start practicing after Labor Day Weekend around Sep 9th and will end at the latest December 18th. These teams will have about one to two practices a week with most teams practices being on Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Friday, Aug 19th  4:45-6:15pm

Sunday, Aug 21st  3-4:30pm

Fridy, Aug 26th  4:45-6:15pm

Tryout Placement Day:

Sunday, Aug 28th 3-4:45pm

             

Cost:           

$75 includes all 3-Pre-Tryout Clinics & Placement Day

What to Bring:

Please bring water, knee pads, shoes, and athletic wear.

Players should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before the clinics to check-in.
