Boys Make-Up Tryout
We are excited about the teams for the upcoming year. With all the activity during tryouts, we understand that conflicts and missed connections.. We have some systems in place to help accommodate. Please find some useful info below to help.
We look forward to seeing you!
Pre-Tryout Open Gyms
Our first recommendation is to attend the official Pre-Tryout Clinics as shown above and be sure to remind the front desk that you are unable to attend the actual tryout and also introduce yourself to the coaches and let them know that you are unable to attend the tryout and why.
If you are not available to attend the Pre-Tryout Clinics, you can be evaluated at another time by arrangement only.
In general, we prefer to be able to evaluate your player BEFORE the actual tryout, as we cannot guarantee that space will be available after written offers are extended immediately following the tryout for each age group.
Finally, if there is no way to evaluate your player in-person or by video prior to the tryouts, we might hold Make-Up Tryouts for any team that is not filled at the tryouts. These could be a specific Make-Up Tryout date or by attending a team practice as a tryout.
We can also accept video clips of your play if an in-person evaluation is not possible. Please send your video to Jonah Carson (email@example.com) and Wendy Bockholt (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will forward them to the correct coaches.
Written offers will not be extended until the end of the actual tryout. Players who are evaluated early and receive an offer will be listed on the 1st Offer letter in the form D## - Last Name, First Initial. (Players who attend the tryout and receive offers will be listed with a 3-digit number that they receive at check-in.)
We will not consider any player who has not completed the online Tryout Registration form (including payment).
If you have a conflict with any of the listed dates or times but would still like to be considered for a team, please contact Jonah Carson (email@example.com) and Wendy Bockholt (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible.
What to Bring:
Player must bring parent/guardian to attend a mandatory parent meeting.
Please bring water, knee pads, shoes, and athletic wear.
