Thank you for your interest in Mountain View Volleyball Club- We offer a year long, fall and summer, high performance volleyball program that is dedicated to providing a positive competitive environment.

MVVC will hold our Summer Boys Power Tryouts on May 4th & 5th to possibly create new teams and to add open spots on existing teams in every age group (18/17/16/15/14/13/12)

Ages / Teams:
Tryouts will be held to fill open spaces on current teams with space available. Please see the Boys Team page for the teams we current offer. Depending upon interest, we will be looking to add teams at the 16's, 15's, 14's, 13's and 12's & under age groups.
NOTE: Returning players do not need to tryout but are encouraged to attend tryouts as a free open gym.
Boys Power League Club Program:
Come join one of the top boys volleyball clubs in the nation. MVVC offers nationally competitive programs at all levels. MVVC has garnered fifteen medals at the Junior National Championships. MVVC has sent over fifty players to play collegiately and two alumni have competed for USA Volleyball in International competition. MVVC’s coaching staff is the most knowledgeable in the area with an average of 10 years of experience.
This is the most competitive level of club volleyball where teams are committed for the year. The season runs from August to mid-January, with a four month break during the boys High School Season, and then it starts up again with the same teams, and runs from mid-May through the first week of July. Again, the commitment is for the full year, August to mid-January and mid-May to the 1st week of July. The tryouts below is for us to add to our existing teams and add a couple of new teams for the mid-May to the 1st week of July season.

What to Bring:

Player must bring parent/guardian to attend a mandatory parent meeting.

Please bring water, knee pads, shoes, and athletic wear.
Players should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before tryouts to check-in.
A parent or guardian must be present during the beginning of tryouts.

Age Definitions for 2023-2024
18 and Under: Born between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006
17 and Under: Born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007
16 and Under: Born between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008
15 and Under: Born between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009
14 and Under: Born between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010
13 and Under: Born between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011
12 and Under: Born after July 1, 2011
*Boys 14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007 (15 years or younger) who shall neither have completed nor are in a grade higher than the eighth grade (8th) during the current academic year will be allowed to participate at the USA Junior National Championships on 14 and under teams. This age waiver is still subject to frozen roster rules. (This exception is based on the net height difference of 7’4 1/8” to 7’ 11 5/8” between the 14 and Under Division to the 15 and Under Division.)
