2016 Food Drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank

Why:

As a club of over 200 participants, this is a great opportunity to come together as a community to support those in need. Based in Silicon Valley, Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties is one of the largest food banks in the nation. 1 in 10 people in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties rely on food from Second Harvest Food Bank every single month. This is MVVC’s chance to give back to the Santa Clara County community.

When:

Collections will be made at practices between Oct. 31 and Nov. 18

How:

Players and coaches may bring in items to practices between Oct. 31 and Nov. 18. Coaches will track the total number of items collected. The collection bins will be stored next to the MVVC office at the back entrance of the gym.
