Girls Power Tryouts
Welcome to the 2020 Power league with MVVC. All power teams practice 3 times per week and compete in both local and nationally recognized tournaments. The tournament schedule varies with the goals and abilities of each team. Please see the schedule to learn more about which tournaments teams are attending. Additionally, our power program will have an opportunity to join Volleyball Strength Conditioning Classes. These on-site classes will are led by our staff trainer and be available for teams and players at an additional fee. All 14 & under teams will learn foundational training and improve athletic capabilities. Our older teams will all learn proper training techniques, including power lifting, similar to college programs.

What to Bring:

Player must bring parent/guardian to attend a mandatory parent meeting.

Please bring water, knee pads, shoes, and athletic wear.
Players should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before tryouts to check-in.
It is recommended that parent or guardian be present during the beginning of tryouts for a parent meeting.

Age Definitions for 2020-2021
18 and Under: Born between July 1, 2002 and June 30, 2003
17 and Under: Born between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004
16 and Under: Born between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005
15 and Under: Born between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006
14 and Under: Born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007
13 and Under: Born between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008
12 and Under: Born between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009
*Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005 (15 years or younger) who shall neither have completed nor are in a grade higher than the eighth (8th) grade during the current academic year are eligible to play in the 14 and Under division.
