Boys Winter Youth League
MVVC is excited to run our inaugural season for Boys Winter Youth League and our 9th year of Girls Winter Youth League. These leagues are roughly 12 weeks and will promote the basic fundamentals, skill development, and proper tactics of the game.

The Winter Youth League will start with a mandatory 1.5 hour Pre-Tryout Clinic on Friday, January 21st, followed by an official tryout on January 28th. Plan to attend a mandatory Parent meeting during the Friday Pre-Tryout clinic.
Coaches will evaluate players at the tryouts based on volleyball skills, general athleticism, and ability to execute drills, and create teams that will represent MVVC well and maximize each player’s individual potential. . Please be ready to accept an offer quickly if received due to limited space in the program. Each team will have 8 to 12 players.
The Winter Youth League practices will officially begin on Friday, February 4th and run through the last tournament on Saturday, April 10th.
The program is designed for 5th to 8th graders. The Winter Youth League will have 5th - 6th grade and 7th - 8th grade boys and girls teams with all teams typically practicing once a week. Practices will generally occur on Fridays and Saturdays.
Teams will participate in two (2) Tournaments
Friday, January 21st:
Girls: 5th/6th 4:45pm-6:15pm
Boys: 5th-8th 6:15pm-7:45pm
Girls: 7th/8th 7:45pm-9:15pm
Friday, January 28th
Girls: 5th/6th 4:30-6pm (NEW - used to be 4:45-6:15pm)
Boys: 5th-8th 6:15-7:45
Girls: 7th/8th 8-9:30pm (NEW - used to be 7:45-9:15pm)
Pre-Tryout Clinic cost = $50
MVVC Winter Youth League cost = $850. (if selected for a team)
(In addition: There will be an NCVA Youth Membership required if selected for a team = $120)
What to Bring:
Players should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before tryouts to check-in.
